The job forecast is strong for practical nurses with numerous opportunities for future employment in medical clinics, doctor's offices, home health services, nursing care facilities and medical/surgical hospitals. Practical nurses fill a very important role as a member of the healthcare team, working under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
