Coeta Ogle, MSN, FNP-C - Program Coordinator

Coeta Ogle, MSN, FNP-C is the Practical Nursing Coordinator at Carthage Technical Center in Carthage, MO. She is a Certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in patient care, nursing education, and managing teaching professionals. She graduated from Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa with her Masters in Nursing. She has a strong background and knowledge of medicine, pharmacology, diagnostic tools, medical terminology, and procedures in healthcare. Coeta is committed to delivering effective instructional and theory background and helping develop better clinical experiences for students. She has been a nursing instructor and clinical instructor since 2012 for Crowder College in Neosho, MO and Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. Coeta worked as a Registered Nurse for Freeman Hospital and Mercy (St. John’s) Hospital in Joplin, MO. for several years as a cardiac nurse and a coordinator for community and employee health. Coeta has served on various committees including Safety and Exposure, MSSU International Committee, MSSU Nursing Honor Society, Senior Success, and Student Nurse Association.

Jennifer Huston, RN, BSN - Full - time instructor

Jennifer received her PN Diploma from Carthage Technical Center in Carthage, MO in 2011; her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Crowder College, Neosho, MO in 2013; her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, KS in 2015. Jennifer’s nursing experience and clinical experience expands into a multitude of facets including; Pediatrics, Oncology, Medical, Surgical, ICU, Cardiac Step-Down, and Cardiology Clinic. After graduating Crowder, Jennifer began practicing nursing at Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg, KS as a Registered Nurse on the Medical/Oncology/Pediatrics floor.  In 2015, she took a change of pace and accepted employment with Mercy as a nurse in a physician clinic in Neosho, MO. She considers nursing her passion.  She is excited with the opportunity to teach new nursing students the skills and concepts that will forever change their lives as they transition into Practical Nurses.

Kerenza Crane, RN, BSN - Full-Time Instructor

Kerenza Crane received her Bachelor of Science in Sociology in 2008 from Missouri Southern State University. After working for a couple of years, she decided she wanted to pursue a job in healthcare and went back to school. In 2012, Kerenza obtained by Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University. Her hospital experience includes working at Cox South in Springfield on cardiac-medical floor and Via Christi-Pittsburg on the cardiac stepdown unit. She has also experience as an elementary school nurse, RN in pain management clinic, and worked with developmentally disabled individuals through the Missouri Department of Mental Health. She previously taught with the Nevada Regional Technical Center PN program from 2013-2015, until her husband and her relocated to the Golden City area in 2015. She has always held teaching as one of her favorite nursing job and was elated to be given the opportunity to teach again with the Carthage Technical Center PN program in the fall of 2017.
